A friend’s rude and abusive son is getting married—and I’ll have to accept the social costs if he procreates

This 22 year old absorbed the least attractive traits of maleness from his dad, apparently…among those appear to be:

• The belief that women damaged the world when they stopped (did they ever start?) all wanting to be barefoot and in the kitchen.
• A disinterest or fear of women who have sexual needs (or express then in any way)
• A tendency to engage in mommy-pleasing love-bombing to get attention, prior to reverting to sulky-baby antics once they have the toys they coveted.
• A startling cloddish, and low, emotional intelligence.

So many emotions and of course the male genetic lineage—hoping the “bad” parts this unappealing kid inherited—clearly male-style narcissism is imprinted in the DNA in this family—don’t travel to the next generation. 

Please don’t procreate!  There’s more than enough testosterone on the planet and I continue to feel disconnected from my entire gender.  Men seem to be able to rationalize any rudeness or disloyalty or violence. Yuck.  I chose not to participate and I prefer an image of masculinity more like my dad’s.  

Less like Giuliani, whose life has been ruined and morally bankrupted by bad decisions around Trump, yet another in a long sick line of non-paying bullies, shows up and speaks at his rally!  

Really…men like Rudy Giuliani are embarrassing rudderless fools.  I am a man but I reject every last bit of maleness as a disease.  

The 22year old’s mom has to show up and bless her son’s marriage, and smile at her ex, the miscreant who brought these genes from his own father into the current reproductive generations.  You don’t have to hold your breath to guess who the entire sorry clan is voting for.  Rudy!
