Is your cruelty intentional? Take this quiz and find out.
I was talking about the degrees and kinds of nasty antisocial behavior that humans engage in. It's all the rage now—I believe JD Vance compared Kamala Harris to venereal disease yesterday. That's us. That's who humans are.
We are the species that created venereal disease and then shared it amongst ourselves, after all!
Liberally.
The scale I suggested goes from 1% (unintentional blind systemic damage to others) to 100% (purposeful and harmful narcissistic manipulation creating sociopathic results).
Where do you rate? You're probably not on this scale, right? That's my point.
Since my benchmark is my ex-wife, and I'm unable to lobotomize myself to excise the memories and many, many resentments I have, my thoughts manically pointed in her direction. My brain is a broken compass, and the magneto is my ex-wife.
I came up with 91% for her. Not initially, but since she was young and so insecure that she wasted all her negative energy hurting herself. But since 2010, nothing but drain on my emotional, financial, and health ecosystems. There was no one since that point who wasn't at fault. The result for her was:
- Inability to keep a job
- Inability to maintain friendships or negotiate new relationships
- The MBS Discard Pile
I'm a member of the MBS Discard Pile…people who ask my ex for help or raised questions about the partnership structures Mina felt she deserved without audit. I have three major dumpings, which ranks me 2nd or 3rd. Libby has four. She's the champion.
In my ex-wife's eyes, miraculously, we're all selfish stupid blind blots on the planet, worthy of her blame/dump/ghost patterns…plus, she knows what's better for us more than we do, which tends to be very harmful and negative input. I don't have the sense that my ex wastes any energy differentiating between members of our sad association.
No skin in the game, but lots of unasked for analysis and opinions. My ex' strongest behavior pattern is indifference, largely real but partially feigned. Symptom #2 of major Narcissist Personality Disorder characteristics.
Rachel…thinking of you in this instance, but of course we're all in your boat with you.
I don't think she's in touch with any of us, still. Of course, many of those in the group have died or have permanent brain impairment. I'm just going back on anti-depressants, which hopefully will help after I put myself into a serotonin syndrome risk situation with a series of assisted psychedelic trips, and microdosing psilocybin and LSD during a four month period.
I also had a roommate who was probably an alcoholic, so that may or may not have helped.
I'm hardly a candidate for leadership in the MBS Discard Club. Maybe soon, though by then probably more of us will have passed away.
