Che Guevara for president...he's dead, but that's an improvement over the current options

Compared to last year which was my “face down on the couch” summer, this year is looking like an endless pool party…my standards on fun are currently very very low!

I leased a horse at the equestrian center down the road from us in California.  No question the time with Titan—trail rides by myself, cleaning, washing—those are good moments.  That’s a connection that’s rich and fun and I’m learning a lot from the very smart horse.

People: I lost 90% of my friend group in NYC too…so social interaction with new friends is still making me very nervous.  My liberal political friends are driving me nuts too—I start screaming every time I open a NYT’s editorial (it should be called “The NYT Making White Liberals Feel Self-Satisfied Page”). Unless they support Che Guevara for president (he’s dead but that’s an improvement compared to the options), I’m going to block those folks soon.

It’s going to take some time to trust affection again…one dusty trot at a time.

Too bad because I get so much kindness from my professional community and my remaining friends (I don’t have any family left other than my bipolar brother who I love)—and I don’t always appreciate that as much as I should these days.
