Don't dignify this collosal mistake as a war.  It's an invasion.

 

How can you tell?

 

  1. Quick: distinguish this US/Israeli shithouse from Putin in the Ukraine.
  2. Quick: did a single Iranian citizen ask the US and Israeli governments to blow up Tehran and kill their families to save them from the Ayotollah? If so—of the civilians who are still alive, where's the opposition?  Where's the underground raising up, like the heroic Poles in WWII?  Where are all the secret Jews and Christians in Tehran who are finally free of this imagined yoke?
  3. Quick: is there a single country besides perhaps the Saudis who thinks endangering the globe this carelessly is a good idea?  Including 100% of NATO and 99% of the UN members? 
  4. Quick: what's the purpose?  At least with the Anschluss there was a clear desire to move borders and crush governments and kill unwanted elements.  WTF is Trump doing.
  5. Quick: can a religious war actually be a war?  (A: Not when the drones have national flags painted on them.  If the bullets and missiles have crosses or stars of David attached…then it's a crusade.)

 

Stop the invasion.  There are two evil doers on the planet right now, and they are putting every living soul on the planet at risk…for nothing.

Schedule crunch--and what it taught me

I woke up anxious and even a bit angry this morning…an old habit from the past that has diminished somewhat as I've recovered.   And then it hit me…I have a 7:30 meeting that I'm leading and I'm not ready.  I have an 8:45 Masters Ski group workout and if I'm not prompt the group takes off without me.  I have a critical board meeting at noon, and I haven't covered the materials.    And I have guests coming for a week on Sunday, so I'll partially lose control of my schedule.  That may be the worst.  My response was to schedule a group dinner during the week so I'd keep in touch with some of my new friends in town.  A bad pairing…NYC friends and mountain town friends. O’Hare is for losers

Here's a new one: The taxi to and from the runway at Ohare is always abusive. 20 minutes at a minimum each way and frequently significantly longer. It deserves worst airport ratings. I'm on a United flight now. The taxi out was so long the brakes overheated before we got to the takeoff stand. We just sat for 24 minutes while the brakes cooled to regulated temperatures. That's the TAXI!
