Goodbye to high school

I wrote this to a friend of mine from high school after deleting our text group after 10 years:

Thanks Matt. Great talking to you as always. I have a huge rich history and a lot of success and wide experience. I'm capable of deep love and great empathy. I don't want to fight to be noticed any longer and I deserve to be taken seriously. The lowest job title I've ever had in my career is "president."

After competing with a narcissist for all those years, I'm done with being sidelined or ignored. The group is and was my version of Ms Lake!  (So glad I dropped FB too—what was I thinking?)
